"It has obvious utility as an educational tool in corporate and business environments, or indeed any environment where there is a need to extend people's awareness about LGBT people."

About The Mirror Images DVD Series

Because of its unique nature, the Mirror Images series is a wonderful educational tool for a broad audience. It can be effectively used with young people from middle school through high school and on college campuses. It will compliment violence prevention and character education programs.

Human Resource Directors will find the series valuable for all aspects of workplace diversity training. It will serve as an important part of any comprehensive employee relations program. Mirror Images will help to reduce tensions and defuse conflicts before they start.

Non-profit organizations will discover a great resource in the Mirror Images series. It will help to foster understanding among co-workers from different backgrounds and enhance service delivery to a wide range of populations.

Finally, in this time of terrorist threats — when people are fearful and suspicious of anyone who is different — this series will be a unique resource for training all government and municipal employees, as well as first responders including police officers, firefighters, EMTs and hospital employees.

The educational message of this series underscores that the more you get to know and understand people from different backgrounds, the less likely you are to be afraid of them, the more likely you are to embrace them as friends, classmates and coworkers, and to welcome them into your lives.

The creation of Mirror Images was supported by the Bureau of Justice Assistance, a component of the U.S. Department of Justice.
